Bandits Abduct Mother and Three Children in FCT

A woman and her three children, including a six-month-old baby, were kidnapped by bandits on Sunday night in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The incident happened in the Zone 5 area of the Kubwa Extension 2 Relocation Estate along Arab Road.

According to Daily24Apps, the bandits invaded the area between 8pm and 9pm, firing shots and creating panic among the residents. The bandits then took away the woman and her children to an unknown destination.

Some residents who spoke to PUNCH expressed their frustration over the frequent kidnappings in the area, especially during the month of December. They recalled that a similar abduction took place in the same area last December, as reported by The PUNCH.

They also blamed the lack of security for the rising cases of kidnappings in the city. They urged the authorities to beef up security and rescue the victims.

The FCT Police Command has not issued any statement on the matter, but the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, said she would investigate the incident and update the public.
