Man Kills Girlfriend, Posts Her Photo on WhatsApp

A shocking case of murder has come to light in Chennai, India, where a man killed his girlfriend and shared her photo on his WhatsApp status. The victim, a 20-year-old nursing student, was found dead in a hotel room where she was staying with the accused.

The victim and the accused, identified as Ashiq, had been in a relationship for five years. They had recently moved to Chennai and rented a room together. The victim’s friends became worried when she did not attend classes for three days. They tried to contact her and found out that Ashiq had taken her to a hotel in Chennai.

However, they were horrified when they saw Ashiq’s WhatsApp status, which showed a picture of the victim’s lifeless body. They immediately alerted the police, who launched a search operation and traced the location of the hotel. They found the victim’s body in the hotel room and arrested Ashiq after checking the CCTV footage.

Ashiq confessed to the crime during interrogation. He told the police that he had a heated argument with the victim, who accused him of cheating on her with another woman. In a fit of rage, he strangled her to death with his t-shirt. He then took a photo of her body and posted it on his WhatsApp status.

The police also learned that the couple had a baby when they were teenagers, which they had given up for adoption. The police have registered a case of murder against Ashiq and are further investigating the matter.
