Mbaka Tackles Tinubu Says Nigerians Are Heartbroken

Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka, a fiery Enugu priest, on Sunday, criticized President Bola Tinubu for his failure to address the insecurity and hardship in Nigeria. Mbaka, who delivered a homily at his Adoration Ministry in Emene, Enugu State, said Tinubu had overcome many obstacles, such as the Naira redesign policy, to become the president by God’s grace. However, he said Tinubu lacked the political will to solve the country’s problems.

Mbaka accused Tinubu of being soft on corruption in the oil sector, which he said was controlled by a cabal. He urged Tinubu to take decisive action against them and stop protecting them. He said Tinubu had the power and the resources to fix Nigeria if he had the will. He reminded Tinubu that God was watching him and expecting him to do the right thing.

Mbaka also expressed sympathy for the citizens who were suffering from the effects of insecurity and poverty. He said their hearts were broken by the poor state of education, health, security, and agriculture. He called for a law that would address the plight of the retirees, the teachers, the doctors, the police, the military, and the farmers. He warned that hunger and violence would worsen if Tinubu did not act fast.

Mbaka said Tinubu should submit himself to God and use his will power to bring positive change to Nigeria. He said Tinubu was different from other politicians who came as beggars, but he needed to prove himself as a leader. He said Tinubu should not feel safe in his comfort zone, as insecurity would soon reach his doorstep. He said Tinubu should listen to the voice of God and the voice of the people.

“I know that this man that has come to be the president of the country if he submits himself to God, with enough will power, God has blessed him in wealth, he has not come as a beggar, like many politicians who failed election and they almost committed suicide because they used all they have to do election.

“Jagaban is not a poor man; so he can do something extraordinary; do it the other way round; shock all these people who are criminals; devise a policy that will bring security, bring joy to the Nigerian people and you will see there will begin to be a meaningful transformation.

“Look at the bank of today giving people loans with interest of 25 per cent, some 26, some 27, how can you pay back? With which collateral?

“So, what’s the hope of the youths? All they need is encouragement, empowerment and support. Nigeria will be better than China; we can Dubanize Nigeria; The youths are waiting for the healing of their broken hearts.”

Daily24 Apps recalls that Fr Mbaka has given several controversial prophecies in the past, including his famous ‘From Goodluck to Badluck’ message which was targeted at then president Goodluck Jonathan.

He said that General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) was the messiah Nigerians were waiting for.
Buhari later went on to defeat incumbent Jonathan in the 2015 election.

However, Mbaka later fell out with the Buhari presidency, with the latter accusing him of begging for contracts.
He also at some point came hard on the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, during the 2023 election, Mr Peter Obi, describing him as a stingy man.
